About the Role
Equiom is seeking an exceptional leader to join our business as Executive Director, Private Wealth & Family Office.
This is a pivotal strategic role with full responsibility for leading our Private Wealth & Family Office service line overseeing teams and ensuring the consistent delivery of exceptional fiduciary and family office services to high net worth (HNW) and ultra-high net worth (UHNW) clients.
As a member of the local Board, you will play a key role in shaping business strategy, driving growth, maintaining strong governance, and ensuring excellence in client service.
The role requires a blend of commercial acumen, technical expertise, and inspirational leadership to deliver outstanding results in a fast evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the growth strategy for the Private Wealth & Family Office service line, ensuring alignment with Equiom’s global priorities
- Lead business development and relationship management across multiple jurisdictions, driving sustainable revenue growth
- Act as Relationship Lead for key HNW and UHNW clients, providing strategic oversight of complex, multi-jurisdictional structures
- Serve as a director and authorised signatory on client entities, demonstrating sound fiduciary judgement and professional integrity
- Provide visible leadership that empowers teams, builds capability, and promotes a culture of collaboration, excellence, and accountability
- Mentor and develop directors and senior managers to ensure a strong leadership pipeline and effective succession planning
- Maintain robust governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks across all structures
- Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, profitability, and operational efficiency
- Champion innovation, technology, and process optimisation to enhance scalability and client experience
- Represent Equiom externally at conferences, panels, and industry events, reinforcing our reputation as a trusted leader in private wealth and fiduciary services
About You
You are an accomplished senior leader with a proven track record in private wealth, fiduciary, or family office services. You combine strategic vision with a hands-on approach and have the confidence to lead teams, engage with regulators, and build trusted relationships with clients and intermediaries alike.
Essential Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum 10–12 years’ senior experience in private wealth, fiduciary, or family office services.
- Proven success in leading multi-jurisdictional teams and driving business growth.
- Demonstrated experience acting as a director and authorised signatory on client entities.
- Strong financial and commercial management experience, including budgeting and profitability oversight.
- Professional qualification such as STEP, CGIUKI, ACCA or equivalent.
- Deep understanding of trust law, governance, and fiduciary principles.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills with stakeholders at all levels

- Proven success in digital transformation and process improvement initiatives
- Experience engaging with regulators and external auditors
- Established network within the private wealth and fiduciary community
