Marketing Manager Responsibilities:

• Liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders; including but not limited to clients, colleagues, third party suppliers and providers;

• Implementing agreed concepts and visual imagery, ensuring the Group’s branding is consistent and cohesive throughout;

• Sourcing cost effective advertising opportunities, whether in traditional mainstream media or social media, to positively promote the organisation using thought leadership articles and profile raising activities;

• Produce valuable and engaging content for our website and marketing collateral that attracts and converts our target groups;

• Managing the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters, flyers, newsletters, and webinars;

• Writing and proofreading copy;

• Liaising with agencies including designers and printers;

• Arranging the effective distribution of marketing materials;

• Maintaining and updating internal CRM database;

• Organising and attending events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions;

• Sourcing appropriate sponsorship opportunities for the Group to support which enhances and supports the Groups vision and values;

• Conducting market research, for example using client surveys;

• Contributing to, and developing, marketing plans and strategies;

• Evaluating marketing campaigns; producing data driven reports;

• Liaising with other internal departments and key stakeholders;

• Prepare marketing reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising sales data;

• Research competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising; maintaining research databases;

• Monitor budgets by comparing and analysing actual results with plans and forecasts and measuring return on investment;

• Brainstorming and developing ideas for creative marketing campaigns; and

• Managing junior members of the team assisting with their development and performance reviews.

Job Purpose:

Reporting to the Group Marketing Manager, you will support the development and effective implementation of the marketing and communications strategy to raise the external profile of the Hawksford group and promote positive internal engagement.

Summary:

Roles at this level provide professional advice and/or support, directly or indirectly to team based upon a full understanding of a technical, professional or specialised field. They plan and ensure progress within established procedures and clearly defined Company policy. They are expected to identify gaps in information and conduct analysis to solve/resolve problems and issues with short-term consequences. They put forward recommendations on managing more complex situations. Individuals are responsible for planning and organising their own work and/or that of a team of colleagues, who may be involved in different types of work. There is a need for liaison and the co-ordination of activities across a number of subsections of the Company. The work involves encountering changing priorities and differing situations.

The successful candidate will work with the Group Marketing Manager and broader team to deliver an integrated marketing communications strategy to support the Hawksford Group and align with business growth strategy. Supporting Hawksford’s integrated marketing communications strategy, including:

▪ Planning, development and execution of marketing activities in response to key business priorities to increase revenue growth and engagement with existing and potential clients.

▪ Work closely with intermediaries, chambers and other industry partners to identify

partnership opportunities, including content and events. Support the coordination of Hawksford’s and other third party online and offline events for existing and new clients and intermediaries, both locally and in other target markets as required. Coordinating venue management, speaker identification, invitations, digital platforms, sponsorship agreements, sending materials and on-the-day logistics.

▪ Support the coordination of Hawksford’s events (in person and virtual) for existing and new clients and intermediaries, both locally, in the UK and in other target markets as required. This includes coordinating venue management, invitations, sending materials and on-the-day logistical support Events/activities to include community and commercial sponsorships where relevant.

▪ The coordination, delivery and tracking of a bespoke content calendar.

▪ Responsibility for supporting internal and external communications, including the end- to-end delivery of one off and/or regular comms (e.g. emails, articles, videos, brochureware and marketing collateral) to support client and intermediary retention and cross-sell opportunities.

▪ Assist with the planning, development and execution of internal communication

channels and activities to increase employee participation and engagement with Hawksford’s business direction.

▪ Support with digital channel communications across social media, website,

intranet/SharePoint platforms etc.

▪ Act as a brand ambassador to support and enforce consistency across Hawksford group, in line with brand and communications guidelines.

▪ Regulatory/Compliance - ensure all channels of communications meet regulatory, compliance and brand standards of practice and carry the appropriate statements where necessary
