JOB SUMMARY A key role which encompasses all aspects of the recruitment process for live vacancies within the Oak Group. The post holder will be a member of the Oak Group P&C team and will be required to handle a variety of steps across the recruitment process, attracting top talent, coordinating with external and internal candidates, Recruiting Managers and Senior Managers / Directors, as well as external recruitment agents.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
Understanding vacancy requirements for Group entities, across all disciplines. Maintaining job adverts on the Oak Group website. Working closely with the Oak Marketing Team to ensure vacancies are advertised via social
media. Reviewing CV’s, screening applicants and managing correspondence with candidates. Maintaining and managing candidates via the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) within our people
system (PeopleHR). Assessing applicants knowledge, skills and experience to best suit current vacancies. Conducting interviews with Recruiting Managers. Promoting Oak’s culture as an employer of choice. Supporting with the recruitment of Oak’s Future Talent candidates. Liaising with colleagues within the People team to ensure that all candidate paperwork and
correspondence is passed on to ensure a seamless onboarding process. Remain abreast of changes and new employment legislation impacting the recruitment process. Provide support and guidance to Recruiting Managers on all aspects of the recruitment process. Preparation of data for periodic reports to management, the Board and Oak Group as required. Completing any other duties as may be required from time to time in accordance with the
requirements of the role, team and evolving nature of the function. In all aspects of your role, display and adhere to Oak’s vision and values.
KEY COMPETENCIES & SKILLS
Proven experience within a recruitment position (in-house or agency). Knowledge of local employment laws. A high degree of professionalism and discretion. A firm understanding of the requirement for confidentiality and adherence at all times. Ability to assist with problem solving. Active listening skills. Excellent verbal and written communication. Established experience of all Microsoft applications. Application of attention to detail in all aspects of the role. Ability to multitask and apply flexibility to working pattern.
