Job Description

A strategic business partner, the Business Enablement Manager (BEM) will work closely with senior colleagues across the organisation serving as a single point of contact to identify and deliver business and technology opportunities. You’ll drive improvement initiatives across the organisation, sharing ownership with departmental leaders and managers bringing to bear the change and technology capabilities of Modernisation and Digital (including Change Delivery and Architecture).

 

Assembling information from departments and the BEM Team alike will be essential in determining the strategic approach to understanding stakeholder objectives and requirements, building consistency across the BEM network and helping you to build positive relationships across Government.

 

We are looking for individuals who have a proven track record in stakeholder management and can demonstrate their ability to help organisations define and deliver technology change together with a degree or equivalent qualifications and experience in subjects which require a high degree of analytical or numerical content. You will need to be an excellent communicator, presenting with impact both on a 1:1 and in a more formal presentation setting. Knowledge of technology account management, IT consultancy or business partner processes and best practice in relation to implementation of these processes is essential, along with knowledge of the application of frameworks and methodologies.

 

Demonstrating the business value of technology opportunities to the business will be key in ensuring early adoption of change. You will have the opportunity to develop the Business Enablement Management Team, ensuring convergence and strategic partnering with departments across Government, creating an environment where the stakeholder is key and we understand our business areas in order to properly support them.
