The Project Manager will be responsible for the initiation, brief, concept, design, procurement, construction/implementation and handover of construction and technically challenging CapEx and maintenance projects, including infrastructure upgrades, across a high-end residential property portfolio. This will require the application of a technical and commercial approach to projects and the management of a team of largely external service providers, shaping them into a strong collaborative technical capability.
The Project Manager shall apply an experience base across all phases of a project; including feasibility studies, concept development, design, construction support, commissioning and maintenance, bringing a business minded approach to the provision of project management services for the Group. This will require the creation of high impact teams in a small team’s environment. The Project Manager may be required to manage projects outside of Jersey. These localities could include UK, Europe and Caribbean.
You will be tertiary qualified with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a technical engineering and building or commercial project environment. Qualifications would underpin an understanding of all design phases, supply arrangements, engineering design, contract management and cost engineering.
The successful candidate will be expected to travel as necessary to ensure effective operations. An ability to take on site visits at short notice is an operational requirement.
