This is an outstanding opportunity for an operational risk professional to become an integral part of Modernisation and Digital within the Government of Jersey. You will be working closely with the Head of Information Governance in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
This new role will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to help build and grow the Information Governance Department and be an expert resource for the business. You will have responsibility for the risk and control assessment process and provide evidence-based opinions and offer opinions where required. Looking for continuous improvements or developments whilst monitoring the organisation’s exposure to operational risk. You will need an expert level of knowledge in information governance initiatives; knowledge of risk trends and be highly analytical and numerate.
Appropriate certification e.g. CISA, CISM, CRISC, or similar is important, but we would consider working with the right candidate to obtain this certification, you must have exposure to working in a project environment, and have a good understanding of project management techniques.
