Job Description

The Investment Manager Review Analyst plays a crucial role in overseeing the investments held by client structures and investment management service providers.

Responsibilities include the continuous monitoring of investment portfolios, which involves inputting and reviewing valuation and asset allocation data, along with providing qualitative commentary on portfolio performance. The analyst actively engages in thorough evaluations of both current and potential investment management providers. This includes meetings with representatives from various firms, a careful review of the due diligence information supplied by managers, and meticulous documentation of the due diligence process carried out.

The analyst would craft dynamic reports for senior management, trustees, and clients, while also addressing spontaneous investment-related enquiries. The analyst also actively engages in enhancing team processes for ongoing improvement.

The minimum education level required is GCSE grades A-C in five subjects, with preferred education levels being A2 levels and an undergraduate degree in finance-related or numerical subjects.

The analyst should possess robust numerical and analytical abilities, excellent writing skills, a keen eye for detail, a readiness to pursue investment qualifications, a passion for investment markets, a solid understanding of Microsoft Office packages and applications, strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, the capability to manage workload effectively, and adaptability. Training will encompass comprehensive on-the-job experience, engaging external courses, and assistance for additional investment-related qualifications.
