Business Systems Implementation Manager – Fund Administration
As the Business Systems Implementation Manager, you will play a crucial role within the Ogier Global Fund Administration team, directly reporting to the Business Systems Implementation Director. This position is instrumental in designing and implementing the core financial system framework, encompassing processes and reporting mechanisms. This enables the expansion of our services across Ogier Global, ensuring we continue to deliver exceptional value and innovation to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
• Project Leadership: Lead and manage business implementation projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. Act as the primary liaison between the fund administration team, IT, and external vendors. • Investran Expertise: Utilise deep knowledge of Investran to optimise fund administration processes, including fund accounting, investor reporting, and data management. Ensure the software is effectively integrated and utilised to its full potential. Knowledge and experience with other systems will also be beneficial. • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the fund administration department. Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational effectiveness and client satisfaction. Support on the development, testing, and implementation of system enhancements and new systems, contributing to the project's success. Support the development of reporting solutions, both for existing and new systems, working independently and collaboratively to create solutions that can be applied across the group to improve service delivery • Stakeholder Management: Work closely with internal teams and external clients to gather requirements, communicate project progress, and address any issues or concerns promptly. • Training and Support: Provide Investran training and ongoing support to the fund administration team. Ensure staff are proficient in using the software and are aware
of best practices. • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all business implementation projects comply with regulatory requirements and company policies. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in Private Equity fund administration and hold a relevant professional qualification. Previous experience working with Investran, with a strong understanding of its application in fund administration processes is required. Being proficient in MS Office and being familiar with programming languages such as VBA, VB Script, SAS, and Transact-SQL is desirable but not mandatory. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent project management skills will be beneficial.
