Role Summary What does the Employee Incentives team do? In a competitive employment market, an attractive employee incentives offering is crucial for motivating and retaining key employees as well as recruiting and attracting new talent. Our EI team establishes and administers complex, bespoke, and regular remuneration and compensation solutions to meet the needs of our corporate clients of all sizes, from evolving private companies and private equity portfolio companies, to large multi-national organisations managing various arrangements for their workforce. What are we looking for? VG are looking for a hardworking and motivated individual to join their busy EI team, to assist with the day-to-day administration of their client entities and develop into key member of the team. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone with one to two years’ experience. Employee Incentives specific experience would be preferred, i.e. employee benefit trusts and corporate nominee arrangements, but broader corporate experience would certainly be considered. In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of matters relating to the Team and its client portfolio and you will provide administrative support to the team’s Assistant Manager as required. You will need to be pro-active and approach challenges with conviction, positivity, and efficiency. The corporate world moves very quickly, and you will need to be organised, be detail orientated, work under your own initiative yet seamlessly with your team towards the completion of team goals and constantly look for ways to do things better, faster, or more efficiently. Key Responsibilities • Liaising with clients and intermediaries.
• Preparing online payments, appropriate bank instructions and share sales, purchases and transfers.
• Answering phones, preparing emails, working with various share platforms, letters of instruction, and updating spreadsheets in conjunction with the team.
• Preparing necessary documentation for the establishment or termination of Trusts.
• Draft minutes of trustee meetings and document trustee decisions.

Risk: You will make known to VG’s Directors all matters of which you become aware involving, litigation, potential litigation, claims, potential claims, complaints, and potential complaints against VG and matters which, under regulations need reference to our approval from directors i.e., fraud, drug trafficking; matters for which no formal guidelines are laid down and matters which fall under the general description "policy matters". You will manage designated companies and other client entities in accordance with agreed procedures and in the spirit of risk mitigation and to be open and transparent when matters arise which give concerns.
Data Integrity: Ensure integrity of data is maintained at all times.
Self Development: Maintain minimum number of CPD hours.
Regulatory: To keep up to date with regulatory and control issues affecting VG.
Compliance: Maintain awareness and comply with all Anti Money Laundering laws, regulations, policies, and procedures relevant to VG. Comply with all policies and procedures relevant to the job.
Professional Qualifications and Minimum Relevant Experience:
• Be willing to work towards a professional qualification e.g. CGI, STEP
Reporting Relationships:
• Position in department: the job holder will report to the Assistant Manager from whom guidance and assistance should be sought at all times.
• Relationship with other departments: you will have dealings with other departments within VG and will in those dealings represent the EI/Corporate team, therefore a professional and helpful approach should be adopted at all times.
• Relationships with external contacts: contact with intermediaries and/or referrers of business.
Confidentiality: All and any information concerning the practice, business dealings and affairs of VG and each and every one of its clients, which may come to an Employees knowledge by reason of employment and this includes information as to the identity and affairs of clients must remain confidential and is not to be discussed outside of the office. Any breach of this term during the course of employment will be regarded as a fundamental breach and may lead to instant dismissal and VG reserves the right to take whatever legal action it may deem appropriate.
Other matters: The post holder will be expected to undertake study and will be required to obtain the relevant professional qualifications to further their professional development. During the employee’s employment with VG, the employee may also be required to complete ad hoc tasks as and when necessary.
