Job Description

This role involves working as part of a team to assist with all aspects of accounting for private equity and real estate funds, as well as corporate clients. This includes producing high-quality materials and responding to client queries.

You would be responsible for client accounting matters, supporting the wider team with internal controls, policies, and procedures. The role may also involve establishing and terminating fund structures, due diligence collation, and other ongoing administration items.

Main duties include working alongside directors, managers, and fund administrators, responding to ad-hoc investor and client queries, bookkeeping, assisting with financial reporting, liaising with lawyers, directors, and regulatory authorities, preparing reconciliations across subsidiaries, issuing drawdown and distribution notices, assessing and monitoring risks, liaising with internal functions and teams, preparing financial reporting materials for board meetings, and assisting with general administrative duties.

You would need to have Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, self-motivation, working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and applications, ability to manage workload, flexibility, and ability to work under time pressures.

External courses will be offered to support training, and the preferred candidate may seek to enhance their knowledge through professional qualifications in accountancy, such as ACCA or equivalent. Support will be provided for related qualifications, including course attendance and examination time.
