Job Description

With a focus on precision and diligence, this is a key role in safeguarding the integrity of our client's banking & treasury governance and maintaining stakeholder confidence and trust.

The role offers the opportunity to be a key contributor to a culture of accountability and excellence, despite having no direct reports.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Act as key contact for all banking partners in Jersey, assisting with periodic client testing, ensuring adherence to local regulatory requirements
  • Work effectively with a broad range of global stakeholders (internal and external)
  • Assist the team with mapping / updating the Group Banking and Treasury policies and procedures
  • Drafting bank account opening application forms
  • Assist with the development of innovative and dynamic solutions to enhance operational efficiencies for Banking and Treasury services
  • Assist with the management and operational flow of the Banking and Treasury SharePoint site
  • Responsible for the maintenance, updating and distributing of the Group Authorised Signatory Lists (Banking)
  • Responsible for ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies within the Banking and Treasury operations
  • Work closely with management on key initiatives, including the launching of new products ensuring that the highest standards of compliance and governance are upheld
  • Adhere to risk & associated compliance procedures in relation to regulatory requirements and AML legislation

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

 

  • Relevant Legal, Banking or Risk & Compliance experience
  • Strong understanding of Jersey CDD, AML and Financial Crime laws and regulations
  • Knowledge and experience of GDPR and other data protection requirements and good practice
  • Experience of writing policies and procedures
