We are seeking an Income Recovery Officer with debt recovery experience.
The role involves pursuing rental arrears recovery through effective client communication, identifying proactive and innovative approaches to prevent and reduce rent arrears, and ensuring clients receive appropriate advice to adhere to their tenancy agreements.
Key requirements include prior experience as a credit controller, a good general education with a minimum of five GCSEs including Maths and English.
A second language would be advantageous, along with a knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Law (Jersey) 2011
Excellent communication, interpersonal, self-management, and organisational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are a must. You should have a proven track record of effective teamwork, the ability to work independently, meticulous attention to detail, a methodical approach to problem-solving, and the ability to form and maintain relationships with third-party agencies.
Experience with Microsoft products and Client Relationship Management software, a good understanding of financial or account management, and a clean driver’s licence are also advantageous.
