This role involves leading the development and delivery of the our client's engagement strategy to enhance the island's reputation as an International Financial Centre. This position entails building strong relationships with stakeholders, representing the organisation in various forums, and advising internal teams on engagement matters. Success in this role is measured by effective implementation of the engagement strategy, fostering stakeholder relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to support the organisational objectives and maintain high standards within a dynamic regulatory environment.
The right candidate must demonstrate strong knowledge and experience in stakeholder engagement within financial services or regulatory environments, along with a capacity to develop and implement senior-level communication strategies. Essential skills include sound judgment in complex situations, leadership abilities, excellent interpersonal communication (both verbal and written), robust stakeholder management, strong presentation skills for complex topics, and resilience to adapt to competing priorities and changes.
