Registry Operations Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and motivated individual to join a leading financial services agency. The agency operates the Companies Registry, which is vital in maintaining compliance within the financial services industry through adherence to conduct and prudential requirements, as well as combating anti-money laundering (AML) and terrorist financing.
Role Overview:
This permanent position, offering 35 hours per week, is ideal for a candidate who seeks to play a pivotal role in shaping and overseeing registry operations. The selected individual will lead a dedicated team, ensure the efficiency of registry processes, and enhance customer experience. Reporting to the Director of Registry, key responsibilities will include:
- Inspiring and leading a diverse team of registry professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and ongoing improvement.
- Overseeing all aspects of registry operations, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practices.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of the registry strategy, adapting to changing regulatory landscapes.
- Championing the use of technology to improve registry services, thereby enhancing digital access and streamlining workflows.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, including colleagues, government bodies, and clients.
Value Addition:
The successful candidate will act as a key point of contact, ensuring the integrity of the registry in relation to the laws and regulations. Responsibilities will also include:
- Developing a technically proficient registry team that plays a vital role in combating money laundering, terrorist financing, and proliferation financing.
- Implementing robust quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and security of registry data.
- Identifying training needs and providing guidance to team members to enhance skills and support career progression.
