Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate Director to join a leading private client services team in Jersey. This is a senior management role focused on managing a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, including wealthy families, family offices, and owner-managed businesses. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a variety of trust structures and ensuring that client portfolios are expertly managed.
The role requires a technical expert with a strong understanding of trust structures and a keen eye for detail. It also involves contributing to the development of regulatory, compliance, and risk management policies, as well as providing leadership and guidance to the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the delivery of client portfolios, offering expert advice and collaborating with the team
- Act as a director or alternate director for client companies, attending and contributing to board meetings
- Lead and motivate a team to achieve business goals, ensuring performance targets are met
- Ensure effective communication and adherence to company values across the team
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business development opportunities
- Provide guidance and development to team members, helping them to grow and excel in their roles
Key Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role, ideally within private client services or trust administration
- JFSC Category A employee with a Table 4 qualification
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to inspire and develop a team
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to client service
