Job Description
The Parish of St Lawrence is seeking an organised and professional Parish Administration Assistant to provide secretarial and administrative support within the Parish Administration Office. The role involves handling public enquiries, supporting the Parish Executive Officer, Connétable and administration team, maintaining records and systems, assisting with meetings, elections and events, updating website content, and helping ensure the Parish properties are secure and well maintained. The successful candidate will have experience in an administrative role (noting full training will be given), adept at customer service and organisational skills, a real desire to assist and support the public, a high level of confidentiality, and confidence using Microsoft Word and Excel. Knowledge of Parish or government administration is desirable but not essential. This role has reduced hours (32.5 hours per week) with a 3pm finish.
