Job Description
Are you passionate about your Island? We are seeking individuals with strong communication skills who can adapt effectively to both high-demand and quieter periods, depending on voter flow to assist with the Pre-Poll Elections in May/June 2026.
This will be based at St Paul’s Centre in St Helier.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verifying voter identification
- Checking and updating the electoral register
- Issuing ballot papers and envelopes
- Assisting with daily reconciliation processes
- Supporting general administrative duties as required
Training will be provided.
Skills & Experience:
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365, particularly Excel and Teams
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong concentration and accuracy skills
- Methodical and organised approach to work
- Ability to remain professional and calm in a busy environment
