Job Purpose
description To ensure that International Client Solutions High business units operate within all regulatory stipulations by managing and controlling risk exposure with specific focus on operational and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) risks by providing risk related advice, support and guidance as required by the business. Conduct ongoing and retrospective monitoring of all AML related matters and related risks within the business.

Facilitate the Business Acceptance Committee Forum to ensure that all new clients meet the prescribed criteria and do not expose IWI, CBB, Investments and Trust to excessive risk.
People
Arrange and deliver training sessions AML, and other relevant Regulations to International Client Solutions teams to enable them to operate within the regulatory frameworks.
Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with Relationship Managers, Portfolio Managers, central BCU Team, Internal Audit and management in relation to on-boarding clients, Business acceptance forum, trigger and periodic reviews as well as remediation and specific AML advice.
Risk, Regulatory, Prudential & Compliance
Conduct ongoing monitoring of client transactions and source of funds as required. Conduct retrospective monitoring of all AML related matters (including payments, , onboarding, downgrading of accounts, transaction monitoring, screening , to ensure that they are performed in-line with procedures.
Maintain and update all AML related procedures and processes in line with governance and regulatory requirements and create an awareness ofthese policies in the business to promote adherence.
Advise the team on client issue relating to Anti-Money Laundering (AML), sanctions and potential Sanctions and, where required, liaise with Compliance, Operational Risk and Senior management with regards to these issues to ensure compliance to the regulatory and organisational frameworks. Provide support for other risk-based investigation and analysis such as investigations into on-boarding, trigger events and transaction monitoring.
Undertake Jersey client reviews (Individual, Corporate and Trust) for all risk categories (Special, High, Medium and Low), in- line with the Client take on and maintenance manual, classify clients correctly as per the Compliance Guidance Note on Client classification and update the schedule accordingly to ensure that clients are monitored and servicedappropriately.Undertake trigger reviews, where applicable, in line with procedure
Report all significant risks, compliance issues, AML risks, complaints and breeches to management and assist in mitigating identified risks and resolving other issues to ensure that the bank is not exposed to unacceptable levels of risk. Assist the Manager Business Risk Management to deliver reports to the Governance Committee on the control environment risks and issues.
