Job Description
Our client is a commercial company who are looking for a Management Accountant to join their team.
Key Job Purpose:
You will also be assisting the Finance Director in ensuring appropriate professional standards are established and upheld.
The preferred candidate would be a qualified Accountant, although being qualified by experience will be considered.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of communication skills, written and verbal with all levels of staff throughout the business;
- Understanding of financial roles, responsibilities, budgets, and policy;
- Experience of working in a Commercial Accounting Environment;
- Proficiency in information technology skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Sage and other role-critical systems;
- High-level numerical and written skills, with the ability to work accurately whilst under pressure, working to tight deadlines and multiple priorities;
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to problem solve, prioritise, and process work with accuracy promptly;
- Good teamwork and self-management skills;
- Assertiveness to achieve a positive outcome with a willingness to challenge ;
- The tenacity to accept and tackle problems to ensure satisfactory solutions; and
- Excellent time management skills, capable of prioritising and managing demands and workloads.
