Reporting to an Associate Director, you will act as the designated Compliance Officer (CO) and Money Laundering Compliance Officer (MLCO) for a small portfolio of Client Regulated entities and as Money Laundering Reporting officer for
Client Supervised Entities.
Responsibilities:
- Act as MLCO to Client Supervised entities (Jersey Private Funds and Schedule 2 businesses)
- Support the Associate Director coordinating, reviewing and approving draft compliance reports, annual governance documents, and other compliance documents to be presented to the boards of client entities
- Act as key contact with the JFSC in respect of the entities you are acting as MLCO
- Maintain client compliance trackers
- Assist in developing and implement client compliance policies and procedures
- Assist in the monitoring and reporting of regular client compliance items such as AIFMD or annual regulatory fees
Your experience:
- 24 months + of relevant experience with JPFs/ Supervised entities
- Hold a Table 4 qualification in compliance, AML/CFT/CPF or similar
- Comprehensive knowledge of AML/CFT/CPF regulation and Codes
- A good understanding of Fund and Corporate structures
- Ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills providing clear direction and attentive listening
