About us
We supervise the island's financial services industry for compliance with both conduct and prudential requirements, and under the anti-money laundering (AML), countering financing of terrorism (CFT), and countering proliferation financing (CPF) framework. The JFSC is one of the few regulators globally to benefit from the Regulator and the entity Registrar operating under a single financial services commission.
Division: Finance, Strategy and Change
This newly formed division manages the day to day running of JFSC’s finances, ensuring that the JFSC demonstrates value for money and has financial plans and suitable controls in place. The Operational Excellence team plan and support delivering of change across the JFSC, from large scale technology changes to supporting smaller operational improvements. This division owns the strategic framework for the JFSC ensuring that we plan, measure and report our strategic and operational performance to stakeholders.
Team: Change/Operational Excellence
The Operational Excellence/Change team includes the Project Management Office, who manage the larger scale transformational changes across the JFSC and the Operational Excellence team who support divisional operational continuous improvement. This team also supports the reporting of organisational performance to internal stakeholders and the Board.

will join the JFSC at a key stage in its development, as it seeks to play an enhanced role in the continued success of Jersey as a highly regarded International Financial Centre. The candidate will deliver the following outcomes: • Guide teams through smaller scale change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions aimed
at improving operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensure process improvement effort leveraging Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses to evaluate the feasibility and impact of initiatives, ensuring
only beneficial initiatives are progressed.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration by working closely with various departments to
identify opportunities for improvement.
• Establish and monitor performance metrics to measure the success of operational
initiatives and ensure alignment with the organisational Operation Excellence quadrants.
• Embed a culture of operational excellence through training and the implementation of
Lean Six Sigma principles.
• Keep key stakeholders informed on progress and current operational excellence
initiatives.
You will add value to the organisation by:
• Facilitating organisational resilience by integrating change capabilities across Divisional
Teams.
• Driving efficiency by being a strategic champion for lean, data centric process design and
automation.
• Supports deliver against our strategy and business plans to deliver benefits both internally
and to industry

• Taking initiative by pro-active thinking and identifying problems and opportunities before
they arise
• Effective collaboration with the Operational Excellence team, delivery to times and
working efficiently across other divisions.
• This role provides an excellent opportunity to make a positive contribution to the ongoing
development of the Commission’s ability to deliver against its strategic aims. Ultimately,
success will be observed through successful delivery of our Strategy and Business Plans.

Are you suitable for this role?
The successful candidate will have a demonstratable background in business analysis and associated qualifications. They will also have the ability to negotiate, mediate and tailor explanations of complex processes, procedures and concepts to the relevant audience along with the ability to solve problems creatively and effectively. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. This role provides the opportunity to be involved in delivering our strategy through supporting major project and programme delivery and by encouraging others to look for opportunities for operational improvement through their learning and development.
