Supervisor, Relationship Managed Supervision

Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supervisor to join their Relationship Managed Supervision team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that regulated entities effectively manage and mitigate risks while remaining compliant with Jersey’s robust regulatory framework.

Key Responsibilities

Proactive Supervision

• Engage with supervised entities to understand their business plans, regulatory risks, and compliance requirements.
• Develop a deep understanding of each entity’s business model to provide targeted supervisory support.

Risk-Based Oversight

• Lead supervisory visits, assess risk reports, review financial data, and address high-profile regulatory incidents.
• Analyse data effectively, leveraging tools such as Power BI to support decision-making and improve supervisory outcomes.

Continuous Improvement

• Use risk management systems to capture and analyse key information on supervised firms and industry trends.
• Contribute to the development of improved supervisory strategies, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

Essential Skills and Attributes:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders. Motivation for continuous learning and development. Team-oriented mindset and ability to share knowledge and best practice. Understanding of financial services, relevant products, and Jersey’s regulatory framework. Analytical skills with the ability to assess complex risks and develop practical solutions. Experience with risk management tools and data analysis platforms (e.g., Power BI). Familiarity with international regulatory standards. Prior experience in regulatory supervision or compliance.
