Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced and inspiring Head of Marketing and Communications to lead our creative team and deliver bold, integrated marketing and communications that grow our global reputation.

This senior role will shape their brand narrative, drive audience-led storytelling, and deliver measurable impact across fundraising, commercial activity, membership and conservation programmes. Working closely with senior leaders, you will set strategic direction, ensure brand and message consistency, and champion high-quality, data-driven marketing across all channels.

You will lead PR, digital, content and internal communications, manage the marketing and communications budget, and line-manage a talented multi-disciplinary team. Acting as a trusted advisor to the Executive Leadership Team, you will play a key role in organisational planning, reputation management and cross-department collaboration.

Key Skills

  • Proven senior experience in marketing and communications, ideally within a charity, conservation or visitor attraction environment.
  • Strong strategic leadership skills with a track record of delivering integrated, multi-channel campaigns.
  • Excellent storyteller with deep understanding of digital marketing, audience insight and analytics.
  • Confident leader and influencer, experienced in PR, media relations and stakeholder engagement.
  • Passionate about conservation and purpose-driven work.
