Job Description

The Policy team is responsible for the development and maintenance of Jersey’s financial services regulatory framework. They keep domestic laws, regulations, and codes of practice up to global standards and work with international policymakers, industries, and governments 

Your competencies for this role will help you deliver the following outcomes:

• Updated AML/CFT Handbook that addresses appropriate elements of the Jersey regulatory framework and provides guidance on compliance with that framework.
• Providing technical advice to the Supervision and Examination teams on interpretation of the handbook and relevant legislation, assisting them in carrying out their roles.
• Handbook consultation and feedback processes with Industry are transparent and constructive
• Supporting financial crime projects through research, proofreading, content drafting and other related activities. 

If you love researching, have the ability to understand complex topics and can communicate them in a suitable manner for different audiences, this role is for you! Practical knowledge/experience of Jersey’s financial services industry and regulatory framework is essential. Professional qualifications focused on areas like corporate governance and AML/CFT would be desirable .
