Job Description
Our client is seeking a motivated Senior Client Accountant who is currently studying toward a recognised accounting qualification. In this role, you will manage a small portfolio of private wealth clients, prepare financial statements, support junior team members, and liaise with clients and advisors on accounting matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements for a small portfolio of Trust and Company clients.
- Provide guidance to junior team members and help resolve basic accounting queries.
- Produce ad-hoc reports, including management accounts, loan interest schedules, and asset statements.
- Work closely with the wider team to provide support where needed.
- Liaise with clients and professional representatives when required.
- Actively promote a positive team culture and uphold company values.
- Take ownership of your development by identifying skill-building opportunities.
About You:
- Part-qualified ACCA.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience preparing Trust and Company accounts.
- Knowledge of IFRS, FRS 102, and FRS 102 Section 1A.
- Strong numeracy and spreadsheet skills.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, positive attitude.
