Job Description
Our client is seeking a Legal Assistant to join their Private Client department, undertaking fee-earning work and managing client matters allocated by senior fee earners or Partners. The role involves meeting clients, taking instructions, preparing probate applications, managing estates, drafting wills and trusts, assisting with will signings, conducting legal research, preparing for hearings, and dealing with capacity matters. The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years’ experience in probate or wills work or a professional services environment, strong communication skills, good literacy and numeracy, and a professional, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
