Our client is looking for a permanent, full time Senior IT Technician (based in Jersey).

You will be providing technical support to customers and internal staff via phone, email and onsite as well as assisting the delivery of projects either onsite or remotely. You will also be responsible for installing and maintaining network infrastructures, cloud technologies and data security working.

The Senior IT Technician will need experience in:

• Configuration and deployment of business/enterprise grade networks such as Active Directory, Group Policy, Print Management, DHCP, DNS.
• Windows Server Deployment which will include versions: 2012, 2016, 2019 and 2022.
• The deployment and support of Microsoft 365/Office 365 modules such as Intune, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams.
• Designing, deploying, and supporting back-up solutions on-site and cloud based.

It will be desirable if the Senior IT technician has experience in all or some of the following:

• Working in the MSP sector
• Azure
• Hyper-V
• Office 365
• SOPHOS
• MS Windows Server
• MS Exchange Server

The normal working hours for this role will be from 9:00am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday. However, there may be a requirement to part of the 24/7 on call, overtime rota. You will also need a full Jersey driving licence.
