Job Description

Our client is seeking a skilled Lead Infrastructure Engineer to take technical ownership of their on-premises and Azure cloud environments. This hands-on role combines infrastructure engineering, cloud modernisation, and technical leadership, with the opportunity to lead a small team of Infrastructure Analysts.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver secure, stable, high-availability infrastructure.
• Lead Azure design, implementation, and cloud migration projects.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code and drive automation.
• Optimise and troubleshoot infrastructure services.
• Ensure security, compliance, and strong collaboration with Cyber teams.
• Manage third-party suppliers and maintain clear documentation.
• Lead, support, and develop the infrastructure team.

Key Skills

• Strong experience in Microsoft infrastructure and Azure.
• Background in cloud migration, IaC, and service transition.
• Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
• Proactive, resilient, and committed to continuous learning.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications (or working towards them).
